A member may be removed for violation of any aspect of this Constitution or the Rules of Conduct stated, at the sole discretion of the Clan Leader or Executive Council. Exigent circumstances must exist to warrant the immediate Clan removal of any member. The Council and the impacted member will have a chance to be heard on any issue involving Clan removal and any immediate removal is to be done only for the most serious of offenses where time is of the essence and full debate is not in the Clan's best interest. Alternatively, the Executive Council and Council may fashion any remedy short of removal, as it deems appropriate in its discretion.
If a member is unable to commit as set forth herein for personal, real life issues, they may go inactive until their issues are resolved. While real life issues will ALWAYS take precedence, the Clan must be able to adjust if a member or Officer is temporarily unable to consistently participate. The Clan Leader or Executive Council members may place or remove a member from inactive status as the circumstances warrant.
If a member goes inactive and then comes back, if their Clan Point percentage drops to zero for the past 60 days they will be required to re-pledge their membership unless they have submitted in writing to the Officers why they will be gone. If he/she does come back from an extended leave without giving a reason as stated above, your points will be dropped to the bottom of the tier below what that they were currently in at the time of their break. For example, if you were in Tier 1 when you went inactive and are re-pledging you will be dropped to the bottom of Tier 2. Only the Clan Leader or Executive Council members can make an exception to this rule.
